Costa Rican Homestay
As a student opting to enroll in the homestay program, you are choosing to truly
integrate your language learning process into the activities of daily life. By becoming
a member of the family, the student is able to immerse him or herself in an environment
which gently forces the student to communicate with their new family. You will have
the opportunity to share meals, to participate in family conversations, and to interact
with individual members of the family; all of which enrich the educational and cultural
experience of studying a second language abroad. Very often students find that they
actually learn more Spanish through the practical experience of living with their
Tico family than any classroom could ever teach.
You will live in an independent bedroom. Your Costa Rican family will provide you
with breakfast, dinner, and laundry service. Our families are carefully selected
and the homes are located in safe, upscale neighborhoods.
If you truly wish to immerse yourself into Costa Rican culture and the pragmatic
use of your second language education, we strongly recommend you to enroll in the
homestay program.

Classes without Homestay
If you are not interested in a homestay program, we offer you the possibility to
stay in a hostel, hotel, or apartment. These options
are all located near the Institute. Please feel free to
contact us for more information and book a place to stay close by.
San José or Limón you can choose
For your convenience we are located 10 minutes walking distance from downtown San
José, or Guacimo, Limón located two and half hours from Puerto Viejo.
